My first AKB48 CD!!!

I started today off very well!

My friend's brother, who is also my friend, went to Japan to study abroad and he brought back a lot of cool stuff for each of his friends *-*

He told me that he got "their latest album" so at the time, I was either expecting the single of Mantsu No Sounds Good or their full length album, Koko Ni Ita Koto, but I actually got the single of Ue Kara Mariko o_O 

Out of all the three jan ken pon singles, this song is my favorite simply because I think the chorus is catchier and I really like Mariko xD I can see how it's a little unfair for the entire song to pretty much be about her, but she won the tournament and she's from generation 1.5 /biased.

I also got a picture too!

I can't wait to pin this up on my bulletin board on my wall along with my pictures of Chii Sakurabi and random anime pictures I got from cons xD

The CD I got was also Type-K which I'm sooo glad because Team K is my fave! :D

The cookies, or candy, idk what you would call it, had the texture of a puffy cheetoh but the flavor of coco puffs (._.) It was interesting. Not something I could overdose on l0l.

Hmm part of me wishes I put like a cute blanket on the ground to hide my carpet LOL.

Oh well, I usually don't get gifts often so this was a nice surprise!

Spider-Galaxy Giveaway

Resolutions

Of course, every year I make resolutions, but as each year progresses I try to think of them in a way that makes them more achievable :P

My first resolution is to stop being shy about the way I dress. When you don't think you look good, you don't feel good, and that's a problem I had all fall semester. I was so lazy about how I dressed which in turn made me feel lazy, antisocial, and basically shy. My schedule itself was also to blame. I was allowed to sleep in 11am, noon at the latest with the time I had my classes, thus resulting in me taking a quick shower, throwing on shorts/jeans/skirt with a plain shirt and going to class with wet hair in a ponytail. If I was lucky I put on concealer under my eyes quickly. yeaahhh nope. You would think having classes late would be good, but it made me feel so MEH, but I'm glad I learned that early on. This semester my earliest class is 8:30! That means I'll have to wake up at 6 l0l. It'll be wonderful /sarcasm, but I want to enjoy the morning and get the most out of my day, so I take back the sarcasm ha.

My ideal style would be anime/kawaii, goth and vintage. yeah quite the mixture. Here's some inspiration lul

After watching Minori's interview with TokyoFashion, I gained the inspiration to actually make this resolution possible haha. The fact that she has the guts to go out like THIS, is so admirable. She also said something along the lines of "when you become yourself, you discover a different side of you" and how it can open new opportunities for you. Something like that xD She's a great artist and I just immediately fell in love with her. I'd like to try shironuri, for purposes other than cosplaying the grudge, but that would have to be saved for anime cons for now .-.

yeah G-dragon too LOL, but I admire how much confidence he emits and how he can take random things and turn it into fashion, that is, if it's all his ideas. I'm always skeptical about celebrities and how much is really them and how much is the company ordering them around .-. but GD is pretty wacky and I doubt the company could soley come up with all the weird things he does lulz

Next is Lana Del Rey for her vintagey hipster sensual and somewhat dark vibe/look and yes that was an unstructured way to describe her. I really love her music and she's pretty in that unconventional way which is always great. Her style would be good for simpler days or days when I want to feel like a flower girl :0

As I come across more inspiration I'll post them here :P These are just a few who I've been admiring the most lately :3 Of course there are bloggers who I admire like aprilfoolromance, krizkotv, clothesencounters, and essy violet xD

My second resolution is of course to lose some weight like everyone elses, ughhhh /LAME. I've accepted my body for the way it is though, which is actually a very recent self discovery lul. I'm never going to be a size small in all of my clothes. That was a problem I had. I would buy clothes in a size small as encouragement to lose weight. That only lead in frustration. The size of the clothes do not matter at all. I realized that my wardrobe consists of close from size S to size XL. I am never going to buy clothes with an idea like "oh if I lose weight this won't fit anymore, I should get the smaller size." like ugh wtf self?

I also want to stop being a beach hater. I honestly have not been to the beach in years to ~*have fun in the sun*~ because I hate wearing a swimming suit due to feeling uncomfortable with my image. The beach is beautiful and I shouldn't be afraid of the sun so much. My college is located in a place famous for the beach and my hometown is in a place famous for the beach so there's no escape LOL.

I still want to get abs though, haha. I just want to look badass .-. If anything, my inspiration would be Sayaka Akimoto from akb48 :> she is so badass ugh. My body type isn't like hers though. She's tall and her body overall is kind of boyish with broad shoulders and not so much of a waist. but idc I'm going to spam some pics of her because this is a good excuse HAHA

My last resolution is to be more free-spirited about things I'm too stiff about, and more organized about things I'm a slob about. My personality is very reserved and very serious unless I'm with close friends. Well, I can't really say I'm THAT serious, but I would say that I can get offended easily thanks to all the things I've read about sexism and racism .-. it's made me become so irritated easily with what everyone around me says. I need to face it that most people aren't enlightened as I am and it's not their fault that they are so sheltered l0l. No but really I just want to not get so offended easily *sigh* 

On the other side, I want to be waayyy more organized. I'm actually relatively clean, but ugh I want to take more pride in keeping up a nice room/dorm. And it's not just keeping it clean, but also adding nice decorations. I've been watching a lot of videos on youtube and reading blogs about "room tours" and it really inspired me. Having a really cute room is fun and uplifting. It would make me feel less lazy and it would be another way to express myself. Another organizational skill I lack is being on time. Ugh freakin filipino time is in my blood. I can't use that as an excuse though omfg. Because of my classes being earlier, that should help. I also would love to arrive to class 10 minutes early and not leave my room 10 minutes before class starts

Hopefully these three resolutions will be the three steps I need to become more of the person I aspire to be :3

Here are just a few more goals I hope to accomplish as well:
1. Get straight As (l0l)
2. Get my license .-.
3. Get a summer job or campus job
4. Keep up a lookbook profile
5. Go through with my AKB48 cover group
6. Improve immensely at Japanese
7. Upload dance covers on youtube that AREN'T embarrassing
8. Be more festive during holidays
9. Be a more thoughtful friend :3 (esp when it comes to birthdays because I love birthdays!)
10. Complete cosplay project ideas with the sewing machine I received for x-mas

2013

I've tried blogging in the past but the outcome has just become embarrassing and not up to par with what I had in mind.

This year I want to be more open about who I am through my style, and I feel like a blog will help me be that way to gain the support from others and just have a place where I know that no matter what, this will be where I am accepted .-.

Anyways, I'm not sure what type of posts will be on here. Of course my thoughts and a few things about my daily life. vlogs will be posted here too, but I'm having audio issues on my computer, so written text is is as of now.
